Considering a new Tarmac Driveway?
Tar (or asphalt) is very flexible as a building material and can be laid on most surfaces with the right groundwork preparation. A pure asphalt driveway has a tight, smooth jet black finish. If you want a lower cost alternative to asphalt, you can choose tar and chip finish. Tar and chip driveway has a rough texture, which makes for much better footing when wet or snow-covered, compared to poured concrete, which can be slippery.
Tarmac driveways don’t have to look the same. You can vary chip size to allow a coarser or a smoother finish. Tarmac allows a really nice finish to every driveway with the size of the chip and colour up to your own discretion. You can also insert a nice block paving edge or cobble edge to highlight the tarmac. You can have a paving crossover to the front of your driveway.
The possibilities are endless and you can have something truly unique. We can execute your own design, or show you the full portfolio of the designs we have done in the past.
